BIPC.com – Inline Ads Module
For the Buchanan Ingersoll website, there was a need to incorporate internal “ads” on various pages. These banners primarily linked to related content such as surveys, white paper signup forms, events and external properties including Buchanan’s various blogs. The challenge was to keep the design visually appealing and aligned with the website’s overall branding.
To address this, I developed an inline ads module within the MODX framework. This involved creating a shortcode that could be easily inserted anywhere on a page. Each ad included at least two images (one for desktop and one for mobile), with an optional third image for tablet layouts.
This solution ensured a cohesive look across all media while providing flexibility and ease of use for content creators. The ads seamlessly integrated with the site’s design, enhancing user engagement and promoting related content effectively.
