Digital Paintings

My digital paintings begin as photographs I’ve taken, which I then transform into “fine art” stylizations. Using a blend of effects, filters, manual brushing, and compositing techniques in Photoshop, I bring out the essence of the original image while adding a unique artistic touch. Recently, I’ve integrated AI tools into my process, allowing me to transition from photo to illustration more quickly and with enhanced detail.

One of my latest works, printed on metal, was featured in the 27th Annual Pittsburgh Art All Night. The piece garnered attention, leading to an inquiry from a guest who expressed interest in purchasing it. My work is a blend of traditional techniques and modern technology, creating art that resonates with viewers on multiple levels.

My initial inspiration for this technique came from tutorials by Kelby Media instructors like Corey Barker, Bert Monroy, and Dave Cross early on in my career.
