Hawthorne Village Website – Wireframe

During COVID, I joined the board of my Home Owner’s Association (HOA). I noticed a significant issue with our communication, as residents were often upset about not receiving messages from the board and the management company. When I was elected President, I began improving our digital communications. Revamping our emails was a huge success.

Next on my agenda is the HOA website. This project is more of a passion for me, though I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to it as I’d like. I’m developing the website in MODX, ensuring that it can be maintained with minimal support from a developer. The site will feature reviews of local businesses, photo galleries, and event updates.

The wireframe for the site has been approved by the board, and development is currently being done offline. I aim to complete the project by the end of 2024. The primary goal is to create a more informative and accessible website than others in our area, which will help attract younger residents and those looking to settle down for many years.
